As the nation continues to band together to help and support those affected by the COVID-19 crisis, Lexus Australia continue to do their part by becoming a Principle Partner with community meal program Hope Delivery, led by renowned chef and 10-year-loyal Lexus Australia Ambassador, Neil Perry.
Launched in April, Neil's team of head chefs, restaurant staff and volunteers work to prepare a diverse offering of nutritious and ready-to-heat meals of which can be collected by visa holders or delivered to those in need by Oz Harvest Food Rescue Charity.
In response to the global pandemic and the desire to support the community, Lexus Australia has donated funds to the cause, allowing Neil and his Hope Delivery program to provide an additional 17,000 meals to those doing it tough - doubling their meal target for both Sydney and Melbourne. This year also marks Neil’s 10th anniversary as a Lexus ambassador working on numerous Lexus events, including the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
Backed by the Rockpool Foundation, over the next six months across Sydney and Melbourne Hope Delivery aims to feed 14,000 international hospitality workers, the homeless and disadvantaged people per week. Each meal is prepared and directly distributed from Rosetta in Sydney and Rockpool Bar & Grill in Melbourne.
